Welcome to Muddy Duck Tapas & Events, a charming café nestled in the heart of Coleambally, New South Wales. This delightful establishment is not just a place to savor local flavors; it’s a community hub where tasty dishes meet a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

The menu at Muddy Duck is truly a feast for the senses, showcasing a blend of Italian-inspired pastas and hearty mains. Indulge in the Chorizo Pasta, where spicy chorizo meets a creamy Napoli sauce, delightfully topped with Parmesan — a dish that dances on your palate for just A$20. Or try the classic Carbonara Pasta, a comforting combination of mushroom, bacon, and onion in a rich, creamy sauce for A$18. If you're craving something heartier, the Scotch Fillet Steak is grilled to perfection, garnished with a luscious garlic butter knob and served alongside your choice of chips and salad or veggies for A$35. The Lamb Cutlets, dressed with house-made herb marinade and a vibrant chimichurri, are another must-try at A$32, offering a taste of Riverina’s best.

For starters, the Grazing Board is a crowd-pleaser, beautifully curated with a selection of cheeses, meats, and dips for A$30 — perfect for sharing and even better for pairing with your favorite drinks. Those looking to enjoy a more casual bite will love the Bruschetta; an array of toasted Turkish slices topped with vine-ripened tomatoes, onion, feta, and drizzled with a balsamic glaze for A$18.

But Muddy Duck Tapas & Events isn’t just about the food; it's also about the experience. Testaments from satisfied customers echo the restaurant’s charms. Martin Kalina praises the "great service and welcoming atmosphere," singling out the staff for their exceptional friendliness. Sylvia Whitney highlights their commitment to families, noting how the staff made dining special for her grandson with a thoughtfully presented drink. This kind of personal touch makes Muddy Duck feel like home away from home.

However, even the best experiences can have room for improvement. Jodi Brett's feedback on the bruschetta as “amazing” reflects the crowd-pleasing quality of their starters, but she also noted the need for stronger coffee. This honest dialogue highlights the café's dedication to continuously enhancing its offerings.

The café’s ambiance is perfect for everything from casual lunches to special family dinners. The locals have created an inviting space, complemented by delightful service that has been mentioned time and again in reviews. You’ll often find a blend of visitors enjoying the great food alongside local residents, all in a cozy, classy setting.

So, whether you’re looking to unwind over a friendly brunch, savor a sumptuous dinner, or grab a takeaway coffee, Muddy Duck Tapas & Events is a culinary gem worth visiting in Coleambally. Don’t miss the chance to become part of this growing community of food lovers today!

Whilst staying in the area had a meal. The bruschetta starter was amazing The chicken Milanese was ok but nothing special. On leaving the area we got a couple of takeaway coffees, I feel needed to be stronger.

I dined with my daughter, son in law and their two children. Great service, friendly and generous to my grandson (3 yr old) he asked for his own drink and it was delivered with flourish ( water with a straw) the pizza was delicious and the expresso martini was superb! Brilliant to find this gem in such a small town.

We had the charcuterie board which was quite nice. The service was slow and not as friendly as you would expect in a small country town. Something to consider before dropping in.

Very pleasant staff that are very efficient. My burger was very salty. The chips were excellent and a hit with my young fella. We will definitely be back.
